Variable Speed Playback is used in language learning and dictation systems or for listening to voice messages. Allows speed of speech to be altered between 50% to 200%.
The implementation maintains the pitch of speech, allowing the speech to sound natural, even if played at different speeds, without sounding squeaky or distorted.
